Driftwood Wall Art Installation Guide

What you will receive

In the package: driftwood wall art piece, hanging hardware (French cleats, keyhole plates, or D-rings depending on the design), and screws/anchors
Via email: a step-by-step installation video guide

What you will need

Drill, Screwdriver, Level, Pencil, Measuring tape, Stud finder (recommended), Hammer (for wall plugs if needed)

General steps (the installation video for each wall art piece will be sent to you after our dispatch):

Step 1 – Mark the Wall

Decide where you want to display your driftwood wall art. Use a stud finder to locate studs for maximum strength. Hold the wall hardware (cleat or screw template) at the desired height, use a level to make sure it’s straight, then mark the drill points with a pencil.

Step 2 – Install the Wall Hardware

• For French Cleats or Z-Clips: Drill pilot holes, insert anchors if not on studs, and secure the wall cleat with screws.

• For Keyhole Plates: Drill screws into the wall, leaving the heads slightly out so they can slot into the keyholes.

• For D-Rings/Wire: Install two heavy-duty hooks or screws into the wall, spaced according to the wire span.

Step 3 – Attach Hardware to the Artwork

Turn the driftwood art face down on a soft surface. Attach the matching cleat, recessed keyhole plates, or D-rings firmly to the back. Ensure they are centered and level for balanced hanging.

Step 4 – Mount the Wall Art

Carefully lift the artwork and align it with the wall hardware:

• French Cleat/Z-Clip: Slide the panel down until the cleats lock.

• Keyhole Plates: Position the piece so the screw heads fit into the keyholes, then slide down to secure.

• D-Rings/Wire: Rest the wire over the hooks or screws on the wall.

Step 5 – Final Check

Step back and check that the driftwood wall art is level and flush against the wall. Adjust if necessary. Make sure it feels stable before releasing.

Modular Design for Large Items:

For large or non-solid pieces like tree bookshelves, console tables..., the final product will be crafted in modular sections with seamless wooden joints to ensure both easy assembly and visual continuity. This may not apply to floating shelves or solid-slab tables

Each item is made individually by hand, and natural wood variations ensure that no two pieces are exactly alike. We will send you progress updates with images during the crafting process and only ship with your approval

Standard Dimensions & Custom Requests:

• The default shelf depth for tree bookshelves is approximately 6 inches (15 cm).
• For floating shelves, table tops, and other parts, we will determine thickness to ensure proper strength and durability.
• If you have specific requests regarding these dimensions, please note them clearly at checkout so we can accommodate where possible.
